We are the only tour company in Cape Town that offer interactive tours in both local Cape Coloured-, as well as Black African communities.
The Cape Flats is the vast area of local suburbs outside of the Cape Town city centre. The heartbeat of the Mother City. We walk the streets of a local 'coloured' community, amongst really friendly locals and good vibes.
Hailing from the Cape Flats area, and still much embedded in his community, tourist guide, Donny will be your host on this tour.
We drive through District 6 and learn about it's eventful history and the forced removals of the many people of colour onto the vast outskirts of the main city.
We visit Langa. The oldest Black African township in South Africa. Experience the hustle and bustle of 'kasi' life. Vibrancy. Energy. Contrasting to inner-city lifestyle.
A visit to a township tavern(informal pub) could be a highlight. Enjoy a drink or local beer and easy music while hanging out with locals in a great informal atmosphere.
We say our goodbyes to any newly made friends and head back to your drop-off point.

Bookings, Cancellations and Refunds Policy
The provision of services by Krotoa Travel and Tour is subject to availability. We advise you to book 24 – 48 hours in advance. Bookings can be made 7 days a week. Cancellation fees will be charged as follows: A cancellation fee of 100% may be charged if the service is cancelled 24 hours before the date of service, and a cancellation fee of 50% may be charged if the service is cancelled 48 hours before the date of service. Krotoa Travel and Tour will refund the client in full within 7 days, should the cancellation be received before the penalty time before the date of the service.
